With a long-standing reputation for providing high-quality education and training across Leicestershire and the UK, we are proud of our student's success and achievements. Loughborough College provides opportunities for learners 16 and above to achieve successful careers. Whether through one of our specialist vocationally based programmes such as an apprenticeship or by gaining a university-level

qualification. Our learners have been recognised with awards such as ‘National Young Enterprise’ award winner and ‘BTEC Student of the Year’. Results for A-Levels are consistently above the national average. In addition, we partner with leading universities, including Loughborough University, the University of Derby, Nottingham Trent University and the University of Warwick. The College shares a campus with Loughborough University, and students are invited to become members of the university’s student union - which is consistently rated by students as the best in the country. It is currently the only Student Union owned and managed by the students. Loughborough has a great town centre with shops to suit all tastes but is within an easy travelling distance of large cities including Leicester and Nottingham. Easily accessible from the college includes countryside locations including the Outwoods, Bradgate Park and Charnwood Forest. Our incredible Public Services students are gearing up for a tough physical challenge, all to raise £5,000 for Help For Heroes 💪🎯

They’ll be lifting, rowing, running, and cycling their way through this fundraiser, with some staff joining in too!

Today, they had an inspiring visit from Dean, a Help For Heroes community link, who shared insights about the charity and gave them a motivational boost ahead of the big event in February.

Staff and students from across the Caring Services department have embraced the festive season by taking part in two charity fundraising and outreach activities this month, raising more than £300 and donating 60 care packages to organisations close to their hearts.
