Mae’r Rhaglen Mynediad Ieuenctid wedi helpu Libby Bowen i yrru ei hastudiaethau o feddu ar y presenoldeb lleiaf posibl yn yr ysgol i ennill medal aur am sgiliau cynhwysol: paratoi bwyd yn rownd derfynol Cymru yng Nghystadleuaeth Sgiliau Cymru.

Our Youth Access Programme has helped Libby Bowen propel her studies from minimal school attendance to winning a gold medal for inclusive skills food preparation at the Welsh final of Skills Competition Wales.
She is currently on a catering and hospitality course under the Youth Access Programme which helps young people who aren’t engaging at school, to study at college. 👏

Roedd y digwyddiad yn cynnwys stondinau, rafflau, ac amrywiaeth o eitemau wedi u gwneud â llaw, i gyd yn ganlyniad i waith caled gan fyfyrwyr a staff.💜

Campuses turned purple yesterday as staff and students raised awareness and fundraised for epilepsy and SUDEP. Art and design students at Pibwrlwyd were a positive and creative driving force
behind the campaign as were ILS students at Ammanford. The event featured stalls, raffles, and a variety of handmade items, all the result of hard work from both students and staff.💜

As part of National Supported Internship Day we caught up with Daniel.
Daniel said: “I enjoyed everything in this placement, which includes doing delivery runs, stacking the trollies, finding invoices, finding boxes, having a laugh and fixing mistakes. This placement has helped me with developing my skills listed below and has also helped me with employment as each skill has been worked on.”

🌊Our Animal Science Level 3 Diploma students recently headed to New Quay to work with the Cardigan Bay Marine Centre 🐋.
They got hands-on experience learning how to conduct on-shore surveys and took part in beach litter picking – making a real impact while developing vital conservation skills.
