WHAT WE TREAT
At Belfast Lifestyle Medicine we are fully qualified, experienced GPs. We use our traditional medical training alongside our experience in lifestyle medicine – each complements the other. In trying to identify the root cause of your illness, we want to know about every symptom or problem that is affecting you. We look at your health history from childhood to the present day, assembling a ‘timeline’ of events. As well as conducting our own physical examinations, we gather any previous investigations you may have had carried out elsewhere, and consider further testing where necessary. We then construct a detailed individual management plan. Crucially, we review things regularly with email conversations, tweaking the plan as needed. We will typically review your progress at a follow up appointment after 2–3 months, when we will establish the next steps.
