Our annual Year Abroad Event, hosted by the Spanish and Portuguese Society and the French Society, will be held in the PFC/0G/007 this Wednesday 1st December, from 4.30-6pm. This is a great opportunity to hear from students who have recently returned from their Year Abroad about their own personal experiences. This is an informal event where you can ask any questions that you may have and listen to advice from those who undertook a year, several months or the summer in a foreign country in the context of the pandemic. Please register your interest through the Google form in the link in our insta bio so we can keep track of numbers for social distancing in the lecture theatre. **Although this event will take place next Wednesday during strike action, the general shared feeling is that facilitating and attending student-run events would not clash with the staff strike action. What you’ve achieved is absolutely outstanding, and you should all be proud of your achievements! Usually you would celebrate this very special day together at Queen’s with some strawberries and cream, reminiscing all the wonderful memories you’ve all spent together as an undergraduate.
