Endometriosis is estimated to affect 190 million women worldwide and one in ten women in the UK.

Dr Gael Morrow, a Chancellor's Fellow at RGU who has been directly impacted herself by the debilitating condition, is leading on new research that will look at the role of endometriosis blood clotting and heavy menstrual bleeding. It's hoped that positive findings could remove the need for invasive keyhole surgery and ultimately improve the lives of millions.

Spectra 2025 is fast approaching and Look Again Aberdeen at Gray's School of Art Aberdeen is excited to unveil 'Northern Lights, a spectacular augmented reality experience that will transform the Rosemount Viaduct, in front of His Majesty's Theatre.

The eclectic virtual exhibition will feature digital art from five artists inspired by Aberdeen, the North East and Spectra’s 2025 theme ‘Journeys’.

Using a smartphone camera to scan QR codes, audiences will immerse themselves in an augmented reality experience that takes them on a journey through a ring of "doorways," inspired by ancient stone circles, into a new and imaginative world.

Robert Gordon University is deeply saddened by the passing of Denis Law. He received an honorary degree from the University in 2017 and as Patron of Denis Law Legacy Trust - Streetsport, the children’s charity delivered in partnership with RGU, he has shown to be a tremendous ambassador for the city and a proud Aberdonian - even gaining Freedom of the City of Aberdeen.

Denis is Scotland’s only ever Ballon d’Or winner and will go down as one of our greatest ever footballers.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
