This week we spread some holiday cheer as we decked the halls for Christmas! 🔔🎅

We went potty , where students crafted one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts! 🎨🎁

Students learned about healthy relationships with *xpression.nottingham and enjoyed treats during Sexual Health and Guidance Week.💑

We helped spread kindness when we partnered with the to launch a Post Pal event, writing letters to children with terminal illnesses. 💌

The society taught us vital quick, hands-on first aid essentials 🩹, and students got crafty, making wreaths, felt stockings, and gratitude journals. 📖

There were plenty of foodie delights this week! We indulged in delicious street food from , enjoyed late lunch at Broadgate Park, and made tasty s'mores. 😋

Join us this Saturday for Arabian Night, hosted by .uon, to learn about Islamophobia and enjoy performances, stalls, and live music. ✨️💃🕺

On Sunday, experience local culture with a trip to Lakeside Art Gallery! 🖼

Last week, we celebrated Returners Week! Aimed at highlighting the diverse range of amazing activities and benefits available to you, just by staying with us! Our accommodation advisors were also on hand to provide guidance and support with rebooking, as well as talking you through the options and benefits available to you for the upcoming academic year ✨.

We started the week with a thrilling ghost walk around campus filled with many spooky encounters👻and mysterious tarot card readings🃏. On Tuesday, we explored campus during a fun scavenger hunt, completing a series of unique challenges and collecting hidden stamps for a chance to win some amazing prizes🕵️. Wednesday was a blast with Winter Sports Day, and Thursday brought the festive cheer with our Halls Festive Market 🎄. We also had relaxing craft activities throughout the week and stopped by again for a another cuddle therapy session 🐶.

It's also time to get potty! We'll be heading to Pot N Kettle, where you'll get the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind Christmas gift! 🎨🎁

This week we celebrated Bonfire Night with a colourful array of events! ✨️

As part of our Bonfire Night celebrations, we enjoyed making tasty smores while creating incredible firework art pieces. also hosted a special Bonfire Night themed Globe Café, where we got hands on with some sparklers! 🎆🎇

We also continued our Diwali celebrations this week, with our Henna Art class and paper Diya creations, all while enjoying some delicious street food. 🪔

Some of us made some furry friends as paid us a visit for coffee and cuddles! 🐶🐕

Students made some incredible sculptures at our Neurodiversity LEGO evening, while others made their own bottle lights 🧴. We also enjoyed Mug Decorating ☕️, a VR Night 🥽, Pop quiz & Nachos 📝, Gardening Club 🌱 and Cooking School 👨‍🍳.

Finally, in preparation for Remembrance Day, some of our students had the opportunity to make their own poppies. Remembrance day is held annually on 11 November, to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty. ❤️

We hope you all enjoyed Halloween and Diwali!

This week we enjoyed more Halloween themed events such as our Spooky Crafts, Gruesome Games, Pop Culture Club Classic Horror Villains🧛, Magical Mocktails workshop 🧙🍸 and some of us got covered in pumpkin guts during our Pumpkin Carving event! 🎃

We also came together to celebrate Diwali, The Hindu festival of light. Diwali symbolises the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. In celebration of the festival of light, some of us got to enjoy our Henna Body Art and Bollywood Film night🎬, Rangoli Craft workshop ✨ and hosted an incredible dance workshop while served up some delicious street food.

It was also Wobble week this week, and we had a host of activities aimed at supporting you and your welfare! Our students took part in our LUSH pamper parties where students immersed themselves in a world of relaxation and rejuvenation. 🧼 Some of us also found a leafy companion to accompany us through our journey at University, during our adopt a house plant event! 🌱

Join us tonight for Tonight for: Sugar Skull Decorating ☠️, Pool Tournament 🎱, Diya Painting 🪔 and will be serving up Halal or Veggie Seekh Kabab Naan's to celebrate the festival of light!

This Sunday we will also be hosting our brain-teasing monthly quiz!

It's been a Spooktacular week in our halls, as we prepared for Halloween! 👻

This week, we channelled our inner artistry skills during many crafty events. These included our spooky biscuit decorating class 🍪, Halloween clay creations workshop 🎃, Spooky Season Sock Gnome making 🧦, Weekly craft club 🎨, Bottle Light crafting🧴, pizza making class 🍕, Raffia Weaving workshop 🧶, Bird feeder building 🐦 and T-shirt decorating workshop 👕.

Some of us enjoyed the outdoors during our Broadgate Gardening Club and Zencraft Garden Club events, and stopped by with some tasty street food 🌯

For our more competitive students, they got to enjoy our Around the World Games event, 🎲 Table Top Group, 🎮 Switch Night, 🎮 VR Night and our popular Pool Tournament!

We also hosted our Black History Month Film Screening 🎬, Robin Hood night with the Global Café 🌍☕ and the Pop Culture Club hosted a Taylor Swift themed night.

Join us tonight for: Halloween Movie Night 👻, Open Mic Night🎙️, a Halloween Party 🎃 and much more!

This weekend also see's us getting active in collaboration with during our Active Living outdoor climbing day and guided walks, while on Sutton Bonington we will also be hosting our Empower x Girls Night In.

✨ It's been a jam-packed week full of incredible events! ✨

We started off this week with our friends with 🏃‍♀️ Halls Night in! An event dedicated to sports, activities and some friendly competition. You all showed your best, and maybe found a new sport for you?

We weren't just active this week—we were creative! We saw some stunning 🎨 artistry as we decorated tote bags, participated in air-dry clay workshops, made lip balm, and so much more.

Are you hungry yet? Well, we also had some amazing culinary delights throughout the week, including Thai Green Curry at Broadgate Park from and 🥣 Poke Bowls at Riverside Point! We washed it all down with Bubble Tea at the Globe Cafe.

Wow, that's a busy week. Let's take a deep breath 😮‍💨. We spent some time with Louisa, learning the importance of breathwork and how to find our calm on campus.

That was this week's round-up. There is plenty to look forward to this weekend and next week. Starting this Saturday, you can live like a local with a visit to Nottingham Castle 🏰! See you there.

What a jam-packed week it's been around our halls!

This week, saw us launch our brand new Heritage Club 🎇with our first activity being Meet & Greet Bingo. The Heritage club lets us celebrate the sharing of cultures and meet new people from diverse backgrounds, all while exploring what makes us unique and what brings us together.

In recognition of Black history month, our students got involved with a Raffia Basket Weaving class 🗑️, Djembe Drumming session 🥁 and some got crafty during a Shadow Box Making workshop.

We also celebrated World Mental Health Day with a series of wellbeing themed events as part of our brand new wellbeing events programme! Students joined us for alpaca walks with thanks to 🦙, a Neurodiversity night with LEGO play facilitators and our care experienced and estranged students took to the lanes at a special bowling night! 🎳

Alongside all of these amazing events, students across our halls also took part in many more activities like our Craft Club , Biscuit decorating 🍪, Nintendo Switch tournament 🕹️, making rainbow fruit kebabs 🍓🍏, our Book Club 📚 , Pride friendship bracelet making 🌈📿, a Paint like Bob Ross workshop 👨‍🎨🖼️, Jewellery making 📿💍, Pizza making 🍕, Gardening Club 🌱 and finally, our Broadgate Park Café and Cooking School! 👨‍🍳

Join us tonight for: Spooky mocktail potions 👻🍸, ISOC freshers dinner 🍽️, Rainbow biscuit decorating 🍪, Poke Bowl 🍲 and much more!

This weekend also see's us kick off our 'Live like a local' initiative with a double header! Join us for a walk round Wollaton Park () 🌳🏞️ and then get your tickets at the ready, as some of us head to the to see the hit the ice against the , as part of the ResX and Panthers Community programme.

To close out the week, on Sunday, we have our halls night in at David Ross Sports Village in partnership . This is your chance to try out some sports, scope out David Ross Sports Village & meet new people!

Moving into halls on University Park, Jubilee Campus, Dagfa or Varsity? Collecting your keys and checking into halls is simple, just follow these easy steps. 👇

1) 🚗 Arrive onto campus and head towards your Welcome Point (or Dagfa if you're arriving to Dagfa or Varsity.). Don't forget your Key Collection Pass, this will help our teams direct you.
2) 🤳 Scan you Key Collection Pass at your Welcome Point to check-in, you'll then be given your room keys and directed to your hall.
3) 💼 Head to your hall and park up to unload your belongings. Once you've unloaded please use the long stay parking on campus away from the halls, so others can easily access the hall.
4) 🔑 Unlock your room and start unpacking, you will have plenty of time to sort out all of your belongings and decorate your room throughout arrivals weekend.

If you have any questions throughout arrivals weekend, there will be plenty of student and staff helpers to guide you on the day.

It's the summer☀️ and we have been busy having fun on and off campus.

This week we took a visit to our friends for a pottery painting class 🏺 We made some real masterpieces this time!

We also celebrated with our mature students at the Mature Student Summer BBQ 🌭 our incredible catering teams provided the food and we provided the fun and games 🎲.

We hope you are all enjoying your summer ☀️ whether you're on campus or back home.
