Here’s the deal: Money’s important—we all need it to get by, obviously. 💸
That’s why if you’re elected as a Sabbatical Officer, we’ll pay you a full-time real living wage salary for the year. And you deserve it, bestie. The work you do is important, and we value it—financially and metaphorically.
Now, you might be thinking, “Okay cool, but what the f**k is a Sabbatical Officer?”
Basically, it’s like being a politician for uni. You run in an election, tell students what you’d do in the role, they vote, and if you win—you take a year out of studying (or make it your first post-grad job) to work full-time improving student life.
Honestly? It’s a pretty sweet deal. It’s hard work, sure. A learning curve? Yep. But you get support, gain real experience, and hit the ground sprinting when you graduate.
